Protection dimensions
Eight combinable dimensions, selected from your assets
Guardian does not have a default MVP dimension. Which of these run for you is decided by what you declare, what you are exposed to, and what you are trying to protect.
Dimensions are activated by asset type. Declaring a domain activates Domain Watch; declaring a public likeness activates Impersonation Watch; declaring listings activates Product and Commerce Watch.
Brand Watch
Where your name appears, and who is using it
Brand Watch follows your brand name and its close variants across indexed web pages, public social content, app listings and search surfaces. It is the broadest dimension and usually the one that surfaces the first signal in an engagement, because misuse almost always involves the name before it involves anything else.

Your mark, used where you did not put it
Logo Watch works on images rather than strings. It compares your registered mark and product photography against public image surfaces to find both exact reuse and marks that are visually close enough to be mistaken for yours.

Names registered to be mistaken for yours
Domain Watch observes registration activity, DNS behaviour and certificate transparency logs for names that imitate yours. Crucially, it reports whether a look-alike is currently live, parked or dormant — because an inactive registration and an active cloned checkout are entirely different problems.

Accounts claiming to be you
Impersonation Watch observes public profiles and posting surfaces for accounts that present as your organisation or a named individual within it. It is the dimension most likely to produce a genuinely urgent finding, because an impersonating account with an active audience is already causing harm.

Publicly observable patterns in what is said about you
Reputation Watch looks for structure rather than sentiment: clustering in review timing, coordinated posting patterns, and statements attributed to your organisation that it did not make. It deliberately does not produce a sentiment score, because a sentiment score is not evidence of anything.

Your products, listed by people who are not you
Product Watch observes marketplace and retail surfaces for listings that use your brand, identifiers or imagery without authorisation, and distinguishes between an unauthorised reseller of genuine goods and a listing that appears to be counterfeit.

Fake storefronts taking your customers' money
Commerce Watch is the dimension with the shortest path from finding to harm. It observes storefront platforms and payment surfaces for properties reproducing your commerce presentation — the cloned shop, the fake clearance sale, the checkout page carrying your logo on a domain you have never owned.

Claims about who you are, checked against the record
Institution Watch compares public claims of registration, accreditation, partnership or official status against what registries and official directories actually show. It is the dimension that matters most when your credibility is the product.
